Black & White Bows

I'm a bit stuck on this color combination right now: Black, White, and Coastal Cabana. Yummy!  I'm trying to channel my "hungry" into crafting, so, yummy colors, it is!

We'll be making this card tonight at Stamp Club, and I can't wait for everyone to try this punch! So fun, so easy, and so *tiny*!!!

It's a new year!

Happy New Year! I've enjoyed spending time with my family--all 7 kids were together!--this holiday season, and now I'm looking forward to new Stampin' Up! catalogs and promotions!

This card is from a birthday gift set I made for my sister-in-law. It was December, and I was looking for something I could put together quickly that would give a nod to her favorite colors--black and red. Cherry Cobbler accents with the yummy Back to Black DSP made it easy!

Black and Gold Bravo for CAS299

I'm a little bit addicted to the Clean and Simple sketches! This card features CAS299.  Gold and black make for a dramatic color scheme, and this card gave me a theater sort of feel! What better sentiment than "Bravo" from the new photopolymer set to round it out? This very affordable set ($25.95) contains lots of BIG sentiments that make card design easy. 

I also wanted to use my very favorite Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the catalog, Back to Black! Don't forget that regular DSP is on sale this month, Buy 3 Get 1 Free! Lots of circle punches and dies made this design easy to execute. There will definitely be more cards coming from this sketch!

Have you tried the new Stampin' Up! Masks? This card uses the Stars from the Hearts and Stars set. I found a sketch from PTI for July and new the Fabulous Four set was perfect for it!
