Birthday Circle Flip Card

At February Stamp Club, we made this cute "flip" birthday card with the Number of Years stamp set and dies. With the Large Numbers Thinlits, you can put any age you choose!

It seems that everyone loves a card with some movement to it, and this card is SUPER easy to make with the Circle Card Thinlits Dies. On a standard 8 1/2 by 5 1/2 piece of cardstock  (don't score it!), set the Circle Card Die and run through your Big Shot. All the score lines and cut lines are already done for you!

If you want to add Designer Series Paper like we did in this sample, cut your DSP at 5 1/4 by 1 7/8. Adhere it ONLY along the top and bottom and the side that will be toward the outside edge of the card. When you use the card die, the circle part of your DSP will come out without leaving a mark.

I used the cute little Party Punch Pack balloon punch and some doodling (no stamps) to make these little balloon accents. I really love how they look on this card!

Sneak Peek: Glitter Tape Birthday for FMS 223

One of the new choices for Sale-a-bration (beginning Feb 16) is this beautiful Metallic Glitter Tape. It perfectly matches the Gold Glimmer Paper, so I used both on this card.

I'm finding that I like a narrower width, so I've been cutting the tape in half--it will last longer that way, too!

I used the FMS223 sketch you can find here at Freshly Made Sketches:

Bloomin Love Valentine

This 4x4 Kraft cardstock card base has been sitting on my stamp table for a few months. I couldn't make it work at Christmas time, so I set it aside for "later." I'm happy to report that "later" is here, and this Valentine's Day card came together so easily!

The background paper is from the Love Blossoms DSP stack, which is full of wonderful prints! Can you see the bit of Blushing Bride Glimmer Paper??? I'm addicted to that gorgeous stuff, and I'll be ordering more soon! The banner and saying are from the Bloomin Hearts set, which coordinates with the Bloomin Hearts dies (only the small flower shown here). I had to hand cut the banner, but you don't need to! The Large Numbers Framelits set contains a die designed to match!
