Everything's coming up Daffodil!

I love yellow. It's my favorite color! So when there was a New Color Swap, it was easy for me to pick--Daffodil Delight!

I used the brand new Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder on Vellum cardstock. Didn't it turn out to be beautiful??? I used markers to color the flower stamp from Friends Never Fade. That made it easy to do a few highlights on the main blossom!

Kimono Kids--Convention 2010

I didn't make it to the Stampin Up Convention this year, but my swap sister Janice agreed to swap for me! The next few posts will be the swaps I sent to her.

This was my general swap for the Stampin Addicts Meet & Greet! I fell in love with this set--Kimono Kids--at first glance, and it's become more and more a favorite! To me, red, black and gold is the go-to Asian color scheme. So I went to it!

I stamped the little girl with Black Craft ink on watercolor paper and then embossed. Riding Hood Red Classic ink to watercolor her dress, shoes, and hair ornament. I picked up Blush Blossom marker with my Aquapainter to do the feet, hands, and face. After it dried, I used a sponge dauber and Gold Shimmer Paint to highlight the flowers and her hair ornament.

Thanks, Janice, for swapping for me!
