Dove of Peace two ways

We made this card at Stamp Club--the dove is one of my favorite stamps this season! After stamping it in Versamark and using gold embossing powder, we added details with a white pen.

Here's what it looks like without the white accents:
Still a pretty card, but the white adds some drama, I think. Either way, the stamp is lovely! If you love it as much as I do, order it soon, before it retires!

Sparkly Season Watercolor Pencils

At first glance, the "little" images in the Sparkly Seasons didn't seem that important, but I'm liking them more and more! I used my (cheap) watercolor pencils to color this Nutcracker image, and then went in search of a card to put him on. The Season of Cheer Designer Series Paper was a perfect match, even though I didn't plan it that way!

A Christmas card needs a little sparkle, right? So the Gold Metallic Thread and the Gold Cording helped me out there. I used the sketch from FMS205.

Watercolor Stripes

The second bonus project for my Watercolor Wishes Kit class, this card was made with Stampin Up Watercolor Paper. I smashed the Night of Navy ink spot (included in the Watercolor Wishes kit) onto a clear acrylic block, then used a paint brush to mix in a little water. Then it's just a matter of painting on the stripes, and blending them as much or as little as you like! The watercolor paper gives you more options for blending, where the Thick Whisper White can't be worked too much or it pills.

The greeting and the wooden heart are from the kit, and the remaining bits and pieces are from basic stamping supplies.

When I bought the Watercolor Wishes Kit in July, I fell in love with it and really wanted to make some of my own watercolor backgrounds. Then I signed up for Watercolor for Cardmakers at onlinecardclasses.com, and now I feel like I really know what to do! I'm sure you'll be seeing more watercoloring in my samples now.

Meet Cucumber Crush

The new In Color Cucumber Crush just makes me think of summer! What a great, fresh addition to our greens family.

This card features more of the Cherry on Top DSP stack. Don't you love those little candles?

I added a few little banners to the sentiment from Perfect Pennants by punching some Gold Foil, Bermuda Bay, and a scrap of Cherry on Top DSP. The gold metallic clothespin holds a few Bermuda Bay sequins to add to the sparkle!

Don't forget you can earn a FREE Catalog Bonus Pack for every order $40 or more that you place using the Host Code R4KJVSH3. Offer good through June 27. See this post to get all the details!

June Thank You Cards

This was my June thank you card for anyone who placed an order. I love the Hardwood background stamp paired with feminine or floral images! The tiny pearls are colored with the lightest Rich Razzleberry Blendability marker, as are the ears and nose on the cute little mouse.

Thank you to all who keep my business running!
