July Paper Pumpkin Circles
It's not often that I just make up a kit the way the instructions say, but the July Paper Pumpkin was fabulous! All I added was a bit of twine and some spatters. I loved the wood elements in this kit, as well as the washi tape! It's all so tactile, which is my favorite kind of project!
The last several Paper Pumpkin kits have really knocked it out of the park. There's a great special on right now, if you've never tried Paper Pumpkin before. A self-contained kit arrives every month, and you'll love having the projects prepared for you!

With Paper Pumpkin, you'll save time and money while you build a collection of crafting supplies. Every month you'll receive a unique stamp set with an ink spot (that won't repeat a color in a 12-month period). In no time at all, you'll have a variety of stamps and ink to use on other projects. In addition, your first kit includes a free clear stamping block that you'll use every month.

Ink Spot Designs
Ever since I bought my MISTI, I've been using my ink spots more than my full-size ink pads. They are so handy. Some I make with the Uninked Stampin Spots (p 201), and others have come from Paper Pumpkin kits or other card kits from Stampin Up. Several ink spots were sitting out on my desk recently as I played with my July Paper Pumpkin and color combinations, and these cards were the results.
I stamped each color two or three times, to give it a very imperfect look. I didn't want anything too symmetrical. Then black ink--either for stamping or doodling--was really all that was needed. The color combinations are: Soft Sky, Crushed Curry, Lemon-Lime Twist; and Soft Sky, Lemon-Lime Twist, Tranquil Tide, Powder Pink, and Berry Burst.
Stamps for the first card are from my go to stamp set lately: Soft Sayings!

July Paper Pumpkin Hearts
The July Paper Pumpkin kit was so cute! The only things I added were a few ink splatters and some pink twine from my stash. The heart punch-out from the first card is used as a focal point on the second card. Genius!
