This is a simple card, but it took me a bit of time to put the right elements together. Lately, I seem to be trying to add too much! Sometimes, you just have to let the colors and the dies speak for themselves.
I posted this card on
my business Facebook page last week, along with the memory of always wanting my mom to sew my dresses with metallic thread. She didn't, of course. I'm sure it was difficult to sew with, and I think she was a bit horrified at the idea of metallic thread on a little girl's dress. Times have certainly changed!
