Mr Snowman and the Envelope Punch Board
There are many versions of this snowman around the webs, and I took bits and pieces from all of them to make my own! We made him at December's Stamp Club meeting, and although he looks complicated, he is simple to make! AND he fits in a standard business envelope.

Peaceful Snowflakes
This print is another favorite from the Season of Cheer DSP pack. I love the details on the snowflakes! I colored the wood Snowflake Element white by pressing it into my Versamark pad and then into white embossing powder.

Dove of Peace two ways
We made this card at Stamp Club--the dove is one of my favorite stamps this season! After stamping it in Versamark and using gold embossing powder, we added details with a white pen.
Here's what it looks like without the white accents:
Still a pretty card, but the white adds some drama, I think. Either way, the stamp is lovely! If you love it as much as I do, order it soon, before it retires!

Cozy Christmas Santa
Don't forget to follow my business page on Facebook: Amy's Card Buffet
That's where most of my creative projects get posted.
Today I wanted to share with you a Christmas card I made at my demonstrator group meeting. It was designed by Carrie Rhoades.
I love the "old-fashioned Christmas" look! Kinda makes me laugh when trends from my childhood and teen years are "retro."

Embellished Ornament on Red
Be sure to follow my business page on Facebook, if you want the fastest updates on sales, new products, and my latest projects and events! You don't have to be my "friend" on Facebook to follow my business page.
We made this beautiful Christmas card last night at Stamp Club. It's really hard for me to get good pictures of cards that have the foil papers or glimmer paper on them, so sorry it's not a great photo. I love the embossed vellum tag and the gorgeous ornament with Red Glimmer paper behind it.

Gold Accent Pillowbox
I love the new Square Pillowbox Thinlits. It's such a versatile box, and you can dress it up or down, depending on the occasion. I think the gold accents here would make it work for either Thanksgiving or Christmas--it could be a place marker, a hostess gift, or a gift card holder!
The gold snowflake shape comes as part of the thinlits set, and it cuts beautifully through the Glimmer Papers and the Foils. I used large rhinestones on two of the snowflakes, then an Iced Rhinestone Embellishment (also from the Holiday Catalog) on the snowflake nearest the bow.

Ruffled Leaves
I originally designed this card for a demonstrator shoebox swap in September, then decided I loved it so much I'd use it for October Stamp Club, too! Stamp Club members received complete instructions so they can use the technique over and over again.
If you're interested in joining my next round of Stamp Club, let me know!

Lighthearted Maple
I'm so in love with Lighthearted Leaves. It's my favorite leaf set in a LONG time. It's so intricate and textured, and so on trend right now with all the Zentangling art!
This was a simple card to make. I stamped the maple leaf from Lighthearted Leaves in Versamark on Early Espresso cardstock, then added gold embossing powder and heated it to set. The dies in the Leaflets Framelits set cut it out perfectly for me.

So grateful
There are several things I love on this card.
First, the Softly Falling embossing folder. It works any time of year, even though it's in the Holiday Catalog. I love the texture. You can choose to have the "heavy" texture anywhere on the card, because this is a 6x6 folder. So many options!
Second, the gold candy dots. Are you wondering where they are in the catalog? They are actually the White Perfect Accents colored with a gold Sharpie. You're welcome.
Third, the "grateful," in Gold Glimmer Paper. The word come from the Seasonal Frame Thinlits Dies in the Holiday Catalog (page 40). I love the script-y font and the bit of shine the word brings to the card.
Fourth, the circle of flowers from Into the Woods Designer Series Paper. I just used the 2 1/2 inch circle punch to isolate the flower set I wanted. You could also easily use circle framelits.
I hope you're making something you love this week! If you are, share it here!

Cotton Paper Flowers
I thought I had posted this project on my blog back when we made it at our August Stamp Club, but apparently not!
We used the Cotton Paper Assortment (Watermelon Wonder and Crushed Curry) to make this simple but flashy flower.
Now Stampin Up has a quick video showing another fun flower with the Cotton Paper!
