How many days???

It's never too early to think about Christmas, right? This year at Convention, I participated in a Christmas card swap at the Stampin Addicts Meet n Greet. I received some wonderful ideas! The swap required at least one "new" thing, so I chose the color Bermuda Bay. It's not normally a color I use at Christmas, but I love the way it turned out!

On the Bermuda Bay layer, I used wax paper to pounce Bermuda Bay ink all over the cardstock. It gives a nice texture--as little or as much as you like.

I stamped the flowers from Christ Is Born (one of my favorite all time sets!) with Ruby Red Craft ink, then embossed with Clear Embossing Powder. Using the Tombow Multi Glue, I put dots in the centers of the poinsettias and dipped them in Aqua Fine Supernover glitter! After I let all that shiny stuff dry, I cut out the flowers, bent up the petals a bit, and adhered them to the card with dimensionals.

With the White Organza Ribbon, some paper piercing, and a rhinestone brad in the corner, the card was set to go!

If you'd like to start on your Christmas cards early this year, be watching for my Christmas Card Class in October!
