Technical difficulties and a little hope

I had pictures taken and ready to process, but my laptop died over the weekend. It had lived a long and serviceable life, but it's a wrench in my productivity (and my budget). I am experimenting with blogging from my iPad, which hasn't worked too well in the past, so bear with me.

We made this card at last week's Stamp Club, which was all about Blendabilities. The flower image is from Bloom with Hope, a hostess set and one of my favorite sets in the new catalog! I can't get a picture of it here, but the link is http://www.stampinup.com/ECWeb/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=133952&dbwsdemoid=2007770  Tons of gorgeous floral images and some lovely sentiments, too!

You can earn host benefits on any order $150 or more, and choose this set for part of your host dollars. Let me know if you'd like to do an online party with your friends to earn this set!

Moonlight Mini Treat Bag

These treat bags are easy and fast to make--great for school friend gifts or office gifts! This bag holds one mini-treat--Twix for the win!--so it's affordable to give out LOTS.

The papers in one of Stampin' Up!'s wonderful small Designer Series Paper Stacks (Moonlight in this case) work perfectly--no cutting! If you don't have one of these Stacks yet, you could cut your paper to 4 1/2 x 6 1/2.

1. Put short side of paper at the top of the scoring board.
2. Score at ½ inch down the left side.
3. Turn 180 degrees and put long side at top.
4. Score at 1, 1 ½, 2, 4, 4 ½, 5
5. Cut all but center tab off bottom of paper.
6. Use tiny amount of Tombo glue or Sticky Strip to adhere the sides together, then adhere the bottom flap to close.

Go ahead! Make a few! They're fun and addicting!

Doodled Bloom

Inspired by UnderstandBlue on Splitcoaststampers, I tried doodling the single stamp Blended Bloom, instead of coloring it. I did it at the dentist office, while waiting for my kids. :-) Best use of dental office time ever! I used my Project Life x Stampin' Up! Journaling pens--I love them!

It's fun to find different ways to use stamps, don't you think?
