Autumn Envelope Punch Box

I think this is the last of my Autumn projects! I'm trying to get them all in before Thanksgiving, even though my craft room is covered in Christmas projects. 

The Envelope Punch Board--mmmm, mmmm, mmmm. You need it. Really, really need it. The best thing since cupcakes! This box is made with the Envelope Punch Board--super easy to do! The box holds at least 6 A2 cards and envelopes. You can make boxes to fit any card sets--great gifts for birthdays or . . . Christmas! :-) Or a hostess gift at Thanksgiving. 

This one is stamped with Woodgrain in Early Espresso, then decorated with Birch Paper (get it before it's all gone! in the Thankful Tablescape Kit) and leaf die cuts (also from the Tablescape kit). I had to throw a little Gorgeous Grunge stamping at the maple leaf. Can any project really be complete without a little spattering????

To make a box to fit A2 (5 1/2 x 4 1/4) cards: 

Cut your paper 9x9. Using EPB, punch and score at 3 1/2, then again at 4 1/2. Turn paper 180 degrees and repeat. 

On the two opposing sides, line up the pointer with the score lines and punch and score (twice on each side). Trim your bottom flap off about 3/4 of an inch. Cut off all 4 tiny flaps. Adhere sides and bottom. Make a belly band to hold the box shut.

Hey, pumpkin!

This is a project from last month's club meeting--it's a little bit Halloween, I know! But if you leave off the black and white skull tape, it would still work this month, right? :-)

Super quick and easy project: Die cut the tag from Chalk Talk framelits. Add Washi Tape. Stamp the Hey, Pumpkin (so cute) stamp from the hostess set Perfectly You onto Sweater Weather DSP and punch out. Tie the treat bag with Pumpkin Pie Chevron ribbon and attach the tag. Ta da! Told you it was easy!

The treats are Pumpkin Almonds from Costco. The perfect colors, and they taste good, too!

Magnificent Maple File Folder

A quick and easy file folder card--this one is just stamped with the lovely Magnificent Maple stamp. Love it! We have a beautiful maple outside our front window, and this stamp reminds me of all the red and gold glory (long gone, sadly).

Epic File Folder

I'm an office supply junkie. I admit it! The fact that the Envelope Punch Board makes these cards possible is what sold me on it in the first place. Who can resist a file folder birthday card???? They are super easy to make, and so fun to give!

Thankful for birch paper

The birch paper is such a gorgeous element, I wanted to really let it shine on this project. The card is 5 1/2 square of Early Espresso, with a layer of Very Vanilla and then the birch paper. The "thankful" comes from the Thinlits Expressions set--I'll be featuring the other words in upcoming posts.

EPB--Do you have yours yet???

What's an EPB??? It's the Envelope Punch Board! The latest-greatest-most fun (English major--couldn't bring myself to type "funnest") tool to enter the Stampin Up scene. You can order yours in my online store.

We used it to make this fun gift card holder at October's Club meeting. Super easy--even though it was late and we were all a bit silly!

We used the smallest size envelope instructions on the board to make this tiny little envelope, then added it to a 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 sheet of cardstock, scored and embossed. I love this one, because it would work for males or females.

Crayon rubbed embossing

I love autumn! Did I mention that before???

This is the technique card we did at club last week. I saw the technique on Pinterest, and now I can't find it again to give credit. Let me know if it's your idea!

Put one piece WW inside emb folder. Rub side of white crayon across pattern. Use sponge to add Crushed Curry.
Stamp Maple leaf in Tangerine Tango. Add spatters with Gorgeous Grunge in Early Espresso. Stamp sentiment in Espresso. Allow to dry 1-2 minutes, then rub off excess ink with paper towel.

Be sure to allow for the drying time, or you'll get a smudgy sentiment! This technique would work with any embossing folder.
