First, I discovered that I missed one of yesterday's gifts! Sorry, Cupid!
Here it is: Isn't that adorable???
Ok, and now for Day 3: Chocolate in a sweeeet tin, an adorable bag, and sweet smellies!!! Thanks Cupid! You are awesome! So you all are still waiting to find out who it is, aren't you??? Hmmm
First, I have to tell you that yellow is my favorite color. It always has been, despite my mother's insistence that surveys showed most members of MENSA favor blue.
{shrug}
Fortunately, Stampin Up has some *yummy* yellows, and So Saffron is my favorite! Ok, so here is the package I got to open today:
Are you excited yet??? Dying to see what's inside??? Me, too!
{Gasps} I LOVE it! I have been stalking these around the blogosphere, but I have to hold something and measure it out before I can make it. LOL And did you notice the color???? {sigh of happiness} Look at those handles! And the stamping on the chipboard! It's bee-yoo-ti-ful!
And since I *know* you'll have to see the inside . . .
Isn't everything gorgeous??? My Cupid is wonderful AND talented! Thanks, Cupid! I love it!
Remember when I did my Secret Elf swap at Christmas??? Well, we had so much fun, my Swappers Anonymous sisters decided to do it again for Valentines Day! What could be more fun than presents???? :-)
Isn't my Cupid *amazing*!! The scrapbook in the back will most certainly be making another appearance on my blog for a class, and inside that yummy Sweet Always packet is . . . Chocolate with Almonds! My most favorite treat in the world!
I have been neglecting my blog recently, I know. It's not that I haven't been creating stuff, it's that I haven't been able to share it! Saturday, I gave a presentation at my upline's Demo Day. I was supposed to feature the new Designer Series Papers--such a sacrifice, ya know???
I did several different projects, but I think I'll spread them out over the next little while. LOL This is the biggie--if you were actually *at* the event, you'd have to wait all the way through my 30 minute presentation to see it! But since you're still in your pj's, I figure I'll just cut to the chase.
I know, it doesn't look like much. Just wait.
I am so in love with this project! It's called a scrapbook in a box. I saw some different versions around, and then changed the template a bit for mine.
Here are the instructions I gave out with my presentation:
BOX
Score 12x12 Chocolate Chip Textured Cardstock at 4” and 8 “ in both directions. Score a diagonal on the corner sections. Fold and crease.
Cut first sheet DSP to 11 ½ x 11 ½. Score at 4” in from each side. Cut out corners and reserve.
Cut second sheet of DSP to 11 x 11. Score at 4” in from each side. Cut out corners and reserve.
Use Sticky Strip to adhere DSP center squares to Chocolate Chip base.
Embellish outside of box with cutouts of DSP trimmed to 3 ¾” x 3 ¾”
Embellish inside with punches, ribbons, brands, felt flowers, and buttons. Corners may be embellished by using DSP cutouts trimmed to 3 ¾” x 3 ¾”and then cut on the diagonal.
LID
Cut one square 6 1/8” x 6 1/8” from Pacific Point Textured Cardstock.
Score at 1” in from all sides. Cut to adhere corners.
Die cut scallop circles with Big Shot, and adhere to lid with Corduroy Button.

Good Morning Sunshine Designer Series Paper (113966)
Aren't these cute?? I gave these out at Card Buffet this week. The idea comes from the amazing Dawn Griffith. I used my retired {sniff, sniff} Parisian Summer DSP, some other retired DSP from last spring that I can't remember the name of, and of course, Life Savers! I did some with the Curly Label punch, and some with the Scalloped Square punch. They're a great quick little treat for Valentines Day or any time!
Thanks for looking, and if you remember the name of that other DSP, let me know! LOL
Ahhh, Valentines Day! It's a great time of year! We're making this project at Card Buffet tonite. It's inspired by my friend Liz! It uses the Candy Lane DSP, along with lots of die cuts and accessories!
First, I apologize for not blogging much this week. Tuesday morning, my oldest daughter was in a car wreck. She's ok--some injuries to her hand, but nothing permanent. However, we have spent the rest of this week on the phone to insurance companies. :-) And of course stressing because my baby was in a wreck! And on her birthday! I normally do a "birthday post," and it just dawned on me today! I'll try to get to that.
And then, apparently there is trouble with my commenting function. Sorry about that! Please know that I appreciate you taking time to comment! I am playing with some settings to see if I can fix it, but since I'm not exactly sure of the cause, it may take me awhile.
So here's my blog offering: a card I did with my club in December. This was about my last use of this set--Organic Grace! This is a bookmark card--the right side with the flower is perforated, and can be removed for use as a bookmark.
