Another Quilted Top Note

These cards are so fun to make! If you have any scraps of Designer Series Papers that you just *can’t* bring yourself to throw away, this is the project for you!

Cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock to 3 3/4 x 5 inches. Punch squares of your DSP scraps with the 1 1/4″ square punch. Arrange them in an appealing way, and adhere them to the Whisper White. I used Tombo Multi Glue (the green and white bottle) because it dries quickly. Tape adhesives don’t work as well on this project, as you’re going to be die-cutting later.

After your quilt squares have set for a minute or two, to make sure the glue is dry, run your cardstock through the Big Shot with the Top Note die.

Embellish as you prefer, and adhere to your card!

Supplies used are all Stampin Up. To purchase them, contact your demonstrator or visit my Stampin Up website to order.

How about easy???

This is a project I made for one of my upline's events--it uses the new Sweet Slumber Specialty DSP and the Big Shot Box #2 die. These are *so* easy to put together--you only need one little bit of sticky strip on the side flap. The bottom is "self-closing." This box, coincidentally enough, holds 12 Hershey Nuggets! But only the toffee kind with almonds--those are the best ones!

Stamps: Thank You Kindly
Paper: Sweet Slumber DSP, Sahara Sand, Riding Hood Red
Ink: Riding Hood Red
Accessories: Big Shot, Box #2, Riding Hood Red Striped Grosgrain, Linen Thread, Large Oval Punch, Small Oval Punch

Cupid Day 2

First, I have to tell you that yellow is my favorite color. It always has been, despite my mother's insistence that surveys showed most members of MENSA favor blue.

{shrug}

Fortunately, Stampin Up has some *yummy* yellows, and So Saffron is my favorite! Ok, so here is the package I got to open today:

Are you excited yet??? Dying to see what's inside??? Me, too!

{Gasps} I LOVE it! I have been stalking these around the blogosphere, but I have to hold something and measure it out before I can make it. LOL And did you notice the color???? {sigh of happiness} Look at those handles! And the stamping on the chipboard! It's bee-yoo-ti-ful!

And since I *know* you'll have to see the inside . . .

Isn't everything gorgeous??? My Cupid is wonderful AND talented! Thanks, Cupid! I love it!

Your wish is my command . . .

Ok, since you *must* have more pictures! LOL Sorry for the poor photo quality--I did them in a hurry!

This is the ultra close-up of the adorable flowers!!!!

Here is what you see when you open the cover.

And *all* the way open! Isn't this a fabulous project!!! I see some serious copying in my future!

Secret Cupid Day 1

Remember when I did my Secret Elf swap at Christmas??? Well, we had so much fun, my Swappers Anonymous sisters decided to do it again for Valentines Day! What could be more fun than presents???? :-)

Isn't my Cupid *amazing*!! The scrapbook in the back will most certainly be making another appearance on my blog for a class, and inside that yummy Sweet Always packet is . . .
Chocolate with Almonds! My most favorite treat in the world!

Thanks Cupid! You made my day!
