Copper Embossed Medallion

I haven't swapped by mail in *years*. Many years. I've done a few small local things at team meetings, but it's probably been 6-7 years since I fell victim to swap mania signed on to make so many of one card! But I really do love how it turned out! All the copper, all the time!

Medallions are super on trend, and I was excited to discover there was one in the new Pattern Party Decorative Masks. At only $6 for 4 6x6 masks, this is a great deal! I used the new SU Embossing Paste through the mask, then quickly added copper embossing powder. This embossing paste dries very quickly, so be sure to wipe off your mask in between uses. Some people have suggested having a bowl of warm soapy water nearby, but my craft room does not have space for that sort of frivolity! I used baby wipes and did the best I could.

Behind the medallion is the new Sheet Music Background stamp! I have waited SO long for this stamp! It's Fur Elise, in case you are curious.

I used the new Copper Trim to make the ribbon rose. It was a little messy, but not hard to do. This amazing trim stretches both in width and length!
The vellum layer was stamped with "just a note" from the Soft Sayings kit in Dapper Denim ink, then immediately embossed with clear powder. Be sure to heat from the back to keep from blowing the powder away!
