Paper Pumpkin Monday: One Sheet Wonder Technique with All About Everything

One-Sheet-Wonder is a technique that's been around a LONG time! It's one we used to teach to beginning stampers more than a decade ago, and it still makes a beautiful card.

Choose a stamp set--here I used All About Everything, the bonus stamp set in the April Paper Pumpkin kit. You'll want a set with several images, some large and some small. Begin stamping with your largest image, then fill in with gradually smaller stamps. This gives you the best ability to balance out the look. You're really creating your own custom designer paper! You can use the colors most suited to your mood or to the recipient. I used Night of Navy, Marina Mist, Hello Honey (retiring), and Mossy Meadow (retiring).

I used the sketch from the Facebook page Bringing Birthdays Back. #imbringingbirthdaysback

Give it a try! Don't let techniques be intimidating. The worst thing that can happen is that you learn something to do differently next time.

Sky Is the Limit Spinner

This set is still available (for now) as a FREE Sale-a-bration item! It makes such great masculine cards and would be amazing with anything vintage.

Spinner cards are an old favorite! Just look on youtube for about a thousand videos on how to do it. We used the Word Window Punch to make the track for the biplane to spin. You'll need dimensionals and 2 pennies to make it work. Doesn't that sound mysterious???

I like to pop up my layer on a double stack of dimensionals to really give the spinner room to do its thing. Hope you enjoy  making this fun card that moves!

Easy Watercolor Birthday Wishes

This card is one of my favorites that I've made lately. When I was designing projects with my free Sale-a-bration paper Perfectly Artistic DSP,  the "back" (the non-swirly-marbled side) reminded me of the Watercolor Wishes kit! So I pulled out my Extras bag from that kit--which is my very favorite kit of ALL time--and used the sequins and the stamp set.

The Flower Fair Framelits helped me put together flowers that were a lovely watercolor style. I used the leftover pieces of the Perfectly Artistic DSP to cut them.

This card has been my most popular post ever on Facebook, so I wanted to share it here for my readers who aren't FBers. Be sure to send me your birthday and address if you'd like to receive a birthday card from me!  #imbringingbirthdaysback

Follow me on my business Facebook page! We don't have to be Facebook friends for you to see those posts, and I don't get any personal information about you when you follow my Card Buffet page.
