Celebrating with Sale-a-bration

I've spent quite a bit of time playing with the Sale-a-bration set "Big Day" lately. As you know, I'm always in need of more birthday cards, and this is an easy set to use! I got stuck on banners at first, as you can see in this first sample here, but I did eventually move on!

I wanted to use the Sale-a-bration DSP "Best Year Ever" to make a masculine birthday card. Many of the patterns have Calypso Coral in them, which is pretty decidedly a pink in my book. This pattern really stood out, though, first because I love Crushed Curry, and second because NO PINK!

The burlap gives it texture and a reassuring manliness, don't you think? Just in case a guy received it and thought, "Is this really manly enough?" Burlap--make it manly.
