Christmas Tags!

More tags! I can never have enough tags at Christmas time! We made these at Club last week. I pre-punched the tags with the Tag Topper Punches that will be available January 3 in the Occasions Catalog! So fun!

Polka dots and trees

Simple and fast! Those are my favorite cards to make this time of year. This card uses the Perfect Pennants die to cut the "trees"--arent they cute?

I'll have a blue Christmas without you

I had a few more blue Christmas projects I want to share before the season is over! Are you ready for Christmas at your house???

These are simple stamped tags that make a small gift seem more special. I die cut Soft Sky cardstock from the Deco Labels Framelits Collection and stamped the landscape image from that old favorite, Lovely As a Tree, in Versamark ink. Then I embossed in Silver Embossing Powder. With a twist of 1/8" Silver Ribbon at the top, you have an elegant tag!

Carrie's Elf!

This fabulous card was totally copied from Carrie Rhoades, my talented friend and sideline! She has perfect instructions listed on her blog. We made this card at club and everyone loved it! There are lots of steps, but they are easy to follow. We used a variety of circle punches, and the rest of the supplies are clickable below.

Winter Frost Ornament Card

Looking for a simple Christmas card? This one is very quick! It's the one I made for my husband to use for the members of his staff at work. Just a quick layer of Winter Frost Designer Series Paper, an ornament (stamped and die cut) from Ornament Keepsakes, a sentiment cut with a Chalk Talk tag, and a little bling!

Winter Frost Card Box

You know I love the Envelope Punch Board, right??? Well, this is one reason why! It makes amazing boxes! There are tutorials all over youtube, so I'll just give brief written instructions at the end of this post.

This is the box to go with the Endless Wishes snowflake notecards. We put three in it, but I'm sure it would hold 5-6 cards. The bellyband is made of Coastal Cabana cardstock. Add Smoky Slate Chevron Ribbon with a banner end cut. Punch  1 ¾” scallop circle from embossed silver paper, punch 7/8” circle from Bermuda Bay. Stamp image in Bermuda Bay and punch with 1 inch circle punch. Create medallion and adhere over ribbon.

To make a box to fit notecard sized (3 1/2 x 5) cards:
Cut your paper 8 1/4 x 8 1/4. Using EPB, punch and score at 3 1/8, then again at 4 1/8. Turn paper 180 degrees and repeat.
On the two opposing sides, line up the pointer with the score lines and punch and score (twice on each side). Trim your bottom flap off about 3/4 of an inch. Cut off all 4 tiny flaps. Adhere sides and bottom. Make a belly band to hold the box shut.

Endless Wishes

Stampin' Up! released my favorite photopolymer set yet, Endless Wishes, in November. I love the fonts, the sentiments, and the snowflakes! But the photopolymer sets are all "while supplies last," and unfortunately, there are no more. :-( They sold out of 3 different runs of this set! I'm sorry if you missed it--it was a good reminder for me that the photopolymer sets are not guaranteed to be available indefinitely.

Anyway, here is one card I made for November's Club options. We made an Envelope Punch Box (post to come soon) that held 3 snowflake notecards. This one, as you can see (or maybe not see all that well), is stamped in Versamark and embossed in White embossing powder. I love sparkly snowflakes, so rhinestones were a natural choice. I think these cards will be useful beyond Christmas and through January, as thank you cards or just notes.

Here were the other options--in Pool Party and Island Indigo.
