It's the most wonderful time of the year! Sale-a-bration begins today, and that means you can earn additional FREE STUFF with every $50 order! This simple card uses the Ice Cream Parlor DSP (free for Sale-a-bration) and the set Punch Bunch (also free for Sale-a-bration). I'm a sucker for sets that match punches, so this one was perfect for me!

Tree of Hearts

Some friends of mine did a swap from the Occasions Mini Catalog, and this is my entry. It's also one of the projects available at tomorrow's Valentines Class! I chose the set Valentine Defined because there were so many images in it that I loved! This tree is among my favorites. I used the Riding Hood Red marker and the Basic Gray marker to ink it up, then stamped on Whisper White cardstock. And how about that new embossing folder! I think Framed Tulips is going to be getting used a LOT in my craft room!

What are you making for your sweetheart(s) for Valentines Day???

Mini card matchbox

I found this idea on Becky Roberts' awesome blog and thought it was perfect for my new favorite set--Create a Cupcake! What makes this set so fun and easy to work with is the Build a Cupcake punch! We also used the Scallop Square Duo Die (on the matchbox cover) and the 2 3/8 Scallop Circle Punch (behind the cupcakes). I love 3x3 cards--they are just perfect for little occasions or adding to gifts!

More snowflakes!

This card is made using the technique of inlaid embossing. I die cut the Top Note first, then the snowflakes. I used Tombo Multi glue to adhere the snowflakes to the Top Note, and then ran the whole thing through my Big Shot using the Square Lattice embossing folder. Give inlaid embossing a try and see how much fun it is!

Birthday cards

One of my resolutions last year was to be better about sending birthday cards! I have been trying to keep some pretty, easy-to-mail cards on hand so it's easy to send them for special occasions. This is my latest birthday card, and I really like it! Flat for easy mailing, but with a few nice details.

What are your goals for this year! I hope they include sending out a few handmade cards to show how much you care!
